In the area of the medina known as the Kasbah, easily accessible by taxi, minibus and barouche, only few meters from the royal palace, les Borjs de la Kasbah is a delightful hotel created, after four years of refurbishment, from six small houses and a Riad , by the Anglo-French owners and their young Moroccan architect.
Built entirely by local artisans, our little hotel was conceived to reflect the traditional architectural style of a Moroccan Riad in which geometric symmetry, intricate plasterwork patterns, wrought iron work, bejmat tiles and tadelakt can be seen throughout.
A high level of modern comfort is guaranteed combining the characteristics of local traditions with contemporary tastes in furniture and decoration.
All the rooms are set around and open into one of the four original patios planted with shrubs and orange trees; some also have fountains. A few meters from the Borj (defensive tower in the town walls), a Spa area is being built with hammam, massage rooms, jacuzzi, 10 metre pool and cafeteria. |
