Riad Tanja is the first guesthouse in the medina of Tanger which looks over the bay and the ramparts and is near to the port, the sea and the soccos in the middle of the city. The elegant and refined style of the Riad reminds us of the old days with the paintings and the old engravings, the novels and the old pieces of furniture.
With the luxurious vegetation and a terrace overhanging the bay, one can not stop but think of the old artists who passed from the white city, like Delacroix, Saint-Saëns, Matisse, Van Dongen.
Riad Tanja disposes of six well furnished double suites with beautiful bathrooms in tadelakt en zellige from Fes. They all offer the comfort and style. From the living room, the restaurant with its large windows overlooking the bay or the terraces, you have an amazing view over one of the most interesting cities of Morocco. |
